Research suggests that children who feel supported in their learning at home perform better at school and feel more positive about learning. There are lots of resources available that you can try with your child at home, but just finding time to read together with your child regularly is also a great way to support your child’s learning. Your child will have a Home-School Communication book for you to record the books they read and the books you share with them. In Year 1 and Year 2 the children also have weekly spellings and number facts to learn.
