Hot school meals

All children at Springfield are eligible to receive free hot school lunches each day. Our neighbouring school, St Andrew’s CE High School, provide daily meals for our Springfield children.

All the meals are cooked daily on the St Andrew’s site, using fresh and locally-sourced produce and are then delivered to Springfield in hot boxes ready to serve to our Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children.

Special Diets

If your child requires a special meal for dietary, religious or cultural reasons, you will need to email: office@springfieldschool.co.uk

You will need to provide your child’s full name, date of birth, class and details of the dietary requirement.

Opting out of Universal Free School Meals

If you are 100% certain that your child will not be having a free hot school lunch, please contact Mrs Sweet in the School Office either by telephoning (01903) 219243 or by emailing:  office@springfieldschool.co.uk

Packed lunches

If you are bringing a packed lunch from home, please ensure it contains nutritious and healthy food and drink items. Packed lunches should not include salty snacks, chocolate bars, sugary or fizzy drinks or any items containing nuts. Lunch boxes should be clearly labelled.
