Introduction to our Classes

Springfield is a two-form entry school serving Reception through to Year Two, with up to 30 children per class.

All our classes at Springfield are named after birds in keeping with our school motto ‘Space to grow, Wings to fly.’ In reception, we have Robins and Hummingbirds. Year 1 children will either be in Kingfishers or Puffins and Year Two classes are Owls and Penguins. There is some fun and friendly rivalry between the classes and the children are always very excited to find out which class they will be in when they move into the next year.
