Prospectus and how to apply 

We accept children from three years old and offer anything from three to ten sessions per week, a session being either 9am – 12pm or 12pm – 3pm. We operate during term times only.

It is important to note, that a place at Springfield nursery school does not automatically guarantee admission to Springfield school.  Parents wanting their child to attend the school will need to apply for a place through West Sussex County Admissions Department.

Funding and fees

All children are entitled to 15 hours (5 sessions) government funded nursery provision per week. This begins the term after the child’s 3^rd birthday. However, working parents may be able to claim for up to 30 hours (10 sessions) government funded nursery provision per week. Find out if you are eligible for these additional 15 hours by visiting:

Our prices for unfunded sessions are as follows:

• Early Birds Breakfast Club (8am – 9am) £6.50
• Core unfunded session (9am – 12pm or 12pm – 3pm) £18
• Daily charge for hot school lunch (not compulsory) £3.50

All fees not covered by the government free entitlement funding must be made termly in advance. Invoices will be issued for nursery sessions and breakfast club sessions. Hot lunches can be ordered via the school office.
