FAQ’s

‘Do you provide snacks and can I provide extra snacks for my child?’– We provide a morning snack of fruit and milk for our children in Ducklings however, if you would like to provide an extra snack for your child you can send in an extra fruit snack. We provide milk for the children and ask that each child brings a named bottle of water with them.

‘My child is still currently in nappies, do I need to supply these?’– We ask that you provide nappies, wipes and nappy bags for your child whilst they are still in nappies. We will support you and your child through potty training and ask that you send in enough underwear and clothes in a named bag for any accidents.

‘Am I able to send my child to nursery with a packed lunch rather than pay for a hot meal?’– We are more than happy for you to send your child in with their own packed lunch. It does not need to be the same as the hot school meal provided on that day but must follow our school policy and no nut products please.

‘Do you offer wrap around care for nursery children?’– No, we currently do not have a provider for nursery aged children.

‘My child is 3 next week, am I able to start them in nursery and claim my funded hours straight away?’– Your child will receive their funded hours from the term after they have turned 3 e.g.- Their birthday is on 26th June (Summer Term,) they will not receive their 3 year funding until September (Autumn Term.) If you would like your child to start nursery before they are eligible for funded hours their sessions will be invoiced.
