Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) play an active part of school communities up and down the country. They provide a great opportunity for parents and carers to get involved more actively in their child’s school and have an important role in helping to fundraise for the school.
At Springfield we are privileged to have the support of many parents and carers who give their time and share their skills voluntarily to benefit the school and its pupils. Money raised from PTA events has helped us buy new play equipment, allowed children to go on school trips who may not have otherwise been able to and much more besides. None of this would be possible without the support of our parents and guardians.
Whether you are just able to help out every now and again at after school events, or if you want to become more actively involved in planning and organising events, we are grateful for any support we can get from parents and carers and we’d love to hear from you.
If you are interested in finding out more about joining the PTA or would like to join the PTA WhatsApp group, please speak to a member of the PTA, alternatively email: email@example.com
There are various schemes that donate money to charitable causes, just because you’ve chosen to shop with them online.
The PTA at Springfield are registered with three of these schemes, so check out our quick guide to getting it set up.
