Music Lessons 

We encourage children to learn a musical instrument and we are happy for them to take lessons in school during the day.

Piano and Violin Lessons

Our piano and violin teacher will be Emily Wylie. Emily is an experienced music teacher in the area and has worked at various schools and teaches children of all ages and abilities. She is an accomplished pianist and violinist with 21 years teaching experience. Emily will teach the children to play as well as to read music, aural training and performance pieces.

Lessons for Reception aged children run for 20 minutes and are £12 per lesson. Children in years 1 & 2 will have 30 minute lessons at £18 payable in advance, half termly.

Guitar Lessons

Max Gasson teaches guitar lessons to children on a Friday morning in school. Max is a qualified teacher offering individual and group sessions. Max will teach your child how to play the guitar, read music and how to perform as part of a group!

Lessons are £9 for a 30 minute weekly group lesson and £20 for an individual 30 minute lesson, to be paid upfront in a block at the start of the half term. Lessons are open to all year groups. Guitars are provided by Max.

Other Instruments

The West Sussex Music Service offers tuition for children and young people in a range of instruments or voice – most tuition takes place at school during term time. If you are interested please contact West Sussex Music:
