Truleigh Hill Trip

Last week, we took a group of our Pupil Premium children on a trip to Truleigh Hill near Steyning. The sun was shining while the children had the chance to explore the South Downs, draw the landscape and try their hands at pond dipping – they found a newt and a pond snails. Our Forest School expert, Emma Beard, joined the group as they explored, discovered new skills, enjoyed mini beast hunting and building lots of lovely new homes for the bugs! The trip was a great learning opportunity for the children to explore part of the South Downs and enjoy being out in nature.
