Year 2 Animal Visit

In Year 2, we had a special visit from some scaly, furry, and hard-shelled animals, from ‘The Animal Experience’, as part of our ‘An African Safari’ topic. We had so much fun learning about the animal’s natural habitats across Africa, including the Burmese Python from the rainforests, an African Giant Millipede, and most fantastically, a visit from the real-life, Sunny the Meerkat from our current English text, Meerkat Mail. We all learnt so much about these wonderful animals and we had so much fun handling them. Everyone is very excited to continue learning about Africa throughout this term.
